Brandi Banda Russell was born in Monroe, Louisiana and moved to East Texas in 1985. She was raised here in East Texas her whole life and loves everything about this area.
Upon graduating from Kilgore High School, Brandi continued her love of soccer by playing at Richland Community College. Subsequently, she transferred to Sam Houston State University where she pursued her degree in Public Relations with a minor in Mass Communications. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, she moved back to East Texas to start her career.
Brandi began her career with Sherman and Briscoe Orthodontics where she served as Marketing and Insurance Coordinator. She later moved on to be the Corporate Market Director with the American Heart Association, where she managed the Longview and Tyler area. This proved to be a wonderful experience for Brandi – engaging daily with our East Texas community all while raising funds and awareness for the American Heart Association.
Brandi has served our community through a variety of volunteer organizations – The Junior League of Longview, Legacy Longview, American Heart Association, Board of Directors for Longview Museum of Fine Arts, The Guild of Christus Good Shepherd and The Zeta Tau Alpha Alumni Association. When she is not volunteering, Brandi can be found traveling, working out, being on the lake, concerts, gardening, shopping, and being with family and friends. The best part of everyday is being with her husband Matt and spending time with her son Houston.
