KENT SOMMERFELD

Kent grew up in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He started looking for a warmer climate and after his graduation from college, he left the cold winters and moved to Texas.  East Texas has been his home for 30 years.  He is very humbled by the job and volunteer opportunities that he has been given. With that comes the responsibility and the privilege to educate and serve the community.

Kent’s work philosophy is rooted in perseverance with an abundance of passion and commitment to getting the job done. With his knowledge and expertise, he can deliver results and provide value to his clients. He is an experienced professional with an understanding of real estate market. The characteristic that stands out the most is servanthood.  He will ask, “What can I do?”, or “How can I help?”

Working in real estate, Kent’s goal is to serve his clients. He wants to make the task of selling and buying a home as painless as possible.  There are so many details and logistics to keep track of during the process, and his hope is to take those responsibilities from the client to give them the opportunity to focus on their family. Change is stressful and he wants to provide relief for his clients during their real estate transaction.

Kent is dedicated to his wife Laura and his daughter Sam. The 2 most important people in his world. He enjoys being at the beach, out on the ocean, having dinner, spending time with family and friends, and volunteering. Every day is an adventure. What will today bring?
